Face-to-Face Delivery Option

While the RYA Day Skipper Theory course is traditionally delivered online, this intake will be run face-to-face in a classroom environment, offering a more immersive and supported learning experience.

Learning in person allows for real-time interaction with the instructor, immediate clarification of concepts, and the opportunity to work through navigation, chartwork and tidal considerations together as a group. Complex topics are easier to grasp when you can ask questions on the spot and see problems worked through step by step.

With limited student numbers, this classroom-based format provides a more personalised learning experience, ensuring every participant receives individual guidance and feedback. It also encourages discussion, shared learning and practical insights drawn from real-world sailing experience.
