What To Expect
The aim of the Coastal Skipper Practical is to teach the skills and techniques required to skipper a cruising yacht of 7 metres to 15m LOA safely on coastal and offshore passages by day and night. Students will gain practice in planning and skippering longer passages with a significant number of night hours.

It is recommended to have completed the Coastal Skipper theoretical component prior to the practical course.

This course is a live aboard course to be held over 5 consecutive days. It can also be achieved whilst partaking in one of the mile builders on offer.
All fresh, wholesome, boat cooked meals are provided. All dietary requirements are catered for.
PFD’s, tethers, bed linen and a bath towel is provided.
