Paper Sailors Rock
Hello everyone. My name is Annette (Netty) Hesselmans, founder of Paper Sailors Rock and I will be your Instructor on the sea and in the classroom. I am a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Offshore Yachtmaster and Yachtmaster Instructor. I have sailed since a child and have cruised the East Coast of Australia and the Western Pacific. I skippered my yacht in the Melbourne to Osaka double-handed, non-stop yacht race and the return voyage; and, multiple Melbourne to Hobart Westercoaster yacht races both short-handed and fully crewed.
I am a Registered Nurse and an Australian Sailing Safety and Sea Survival Instructor.
