Melbourne Osaka Cup 2025
The 2025 Melbourne Osaka Cup was an unforgettable challenge, with sailors taking on the demanding 5,500 nautical mile double-handed ocean race from Melbourne to Osaka.
Among the competitors were our very own Annette Hesselmans and her daughter Sophie (aka Slim and Soph), combining experience, determination and a shared passion for offshore sailing as they tackled one of the world’s great blue water races.
Adding a unique perspective to the journey, Soph allows you a front seat to their campaign through her series of authentic, documentary-style videos that capture the preparation, emotions and realities of offshore racing.
