The RYA Yachtmaster Exam Preparation training is five days long and followed by the practical exam (to be arranged following). The course content will depend on the needs of all candidates and the course is aimed at fine tuning existing skills, rather than teaching new ones. During the course, you will spend a lot of time cruising at night, and carry out various challenging boat handling exercises under power or sail while employing all your existing RYA Yachtmaster theory knowledge. The instructor will shape the syllabus for the practical exam and include:
This exam preparation will be completed over five days. You will sleep aboard throughout this time.
All fresh, wholesome, boat cooked meals are provided. All dietary requirements are catered for.
PFD’s, tethers, bed linen and a bath towel is provided.
